Americans,

You knew it would happen. My private phone rings and on the other end is a member of Congress wanting to know why we've launched this effort...so, yes, we're already on the radar in the halls of Congress even before we're fully operational on the web.

Thanks for your patience....and here's the plan: we intend to have the website fully operational by September 1, 2008. To meet that date we'll need you're help, particularly with research. I'm thankful for the many of you who have volunteered your time and expertise -- look for a list of research projects that I'll post next week, the week of July 21.
